Bruce - The Author
Bruce started writing his first novel around 1987 back on the Somewhere in Time world tour, when he was having some troubles with his first marriage. He started it out of boredom and spent sleepless night to give birth to his main character: Lord Iffy Boatrace. It’s a story of an English landlord who does not have much money and quests a wealthy life.
The first book sold 30 thousand copies almost immediately. The publisher liked the result so much that they persuated Bruce to write a sequel to it. Below, you can read a small synopse of the two books:

The story starts with Lord Iffy hunting grouse on his lands. But as there were just a few of them he looked for some help to get more grouse. So, his neighbour Bill Symes-Groat, who was a retired pilot, presents him a secret agent who promises to build some indestructible grouse.
The next step is to invite some friends to his property under the excuse of a school reunion party. But, as soon as they arrive, some very unusual things start to happen.
The book was publsihed in May 1990 by Sidgwick & Jackson
